La poesía, las nanas, las rimas y los arrullos son las primeras lecturas con el bebé. El libro debe ser sencillo y con una buena historia, eso sí, cercana al niño. Con él todo es tacto.
Fundalectura recomienda lo siguiente:
Recién nacido Cantarle canciones de cuna, retahílas, nanas, rondas, poesías... Jugar con su cuerpo mientras se entonan rimas como “este dedito compró un huevito…”. Abrazarlo y leerle en voz alta, despacio y con diferentes voces y tonos.
Se sienta y gatea Abrazarlo y contarle historias breves, musicales y con repeticiones. Leerle, jugando con la voz y los gestos para darle vida a los personajes. Jugar con su cuerpo mientras se le canta; balancearlo al ritmo de “aserrín, aserrán…”. Compartir con el bebé libros de imágenes con poco texto, señalando las ilustraciones y hablando sobre ellas. Respetar su libertad de movimiento. Dejar libros a su alcance y permitirle que los toque y mastique. Permitirle elegir lo que quiere leer, el momento y el lugar.
